Canada is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Confederation this year, and that patriotic fervour is flowing over to Canada Blooms.

Besides celebrating the country’s sesquicentennial with a floral recreation of the Canada 150 logo welcoming all patrons to Canada’s largest floral and garden festival, the Oh! Canada theme of this year’s event is inspiring the popular feature gardens that, in turn, inspire Canadian gardeners and landscapers when putting together their own yards and creations.

Canada Blooms is showcases these Feature Gardens:

Canada is Proud as a Peacock (City of Toronto) — Toronto will celebrate Canada’s 150th with a peacock, because Canada is proud as a peacock.

All that Jazz — Canadian Talent (Creative Garden Designs and Lakeridge Landscaping) — Lakeridge Landscaping and Creative Garden Designs Inc. have collaborated for this the 21st show and the celebration of Canada’s sesquicentennial with a musical take ‘All that Jazz – the Canadian talent’

The Secret Garden Path (Genoscape with the Gord Downie-Chanie Wenjack Foundation) — A gentle meandering pathway that leads our guests through a natural setting surrounded by water. Along the way, you will find various gathering areas and artistic focal points situated throughout the display.
