St. Lawrence Market to host job fair on Wednesday, February 19

In advance of the St. Lawrence Market's new hours of operation pilot project beginning on Sunday, March 15, many St. Lawrence Market merchants are in the process of hiring full-time and part-time positions. To support the merchants and work together on the success of Market businesses, the City of Toronto will host a job fair.

St. Lawrence Market job fair details:
Date: Wednesday, February 19
Time: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Location: The Temporary Market, 125 The Esplanade

Toronto residents who are interested in a position at the St. Lawrence Market can drop into the job fair throughout the day. Merchants will accept resumés and conduct interviews on site for part-time and full-time positions including cashiers, raw food and prepared food sales, culinary support and customer service positions.

Positions will include various shifts to support the new South St. Lawrence Market (main building) hours of operation which are:
Monday: closed
Tuesday to Friday: 9 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Saturday: 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
