City of Toronto offering free programming featuring live performances, activities and fireworks this Canada Day

The City of Toronto has a robust lineup of free programming this Canada Day, offering residents and visitors numerous ways to celebrate across Toronto.

Canada Day events

Daytime activities will take place at Nathan Phillips Square, Mel Lastman Square, Fort York National Historic Site and Thompson Memorial Park. Admission is free for all City-produced Canada Day events.
β€’ 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.: Celebrations at Thomson Memorial Park, 1005 Brimley Rd.
β€’ 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: Moving Forward: Celebrating Chinese Communities at Fort York, 250 Fort York Blvd.
β€’ Noon to 6 p.m.: Celebrations at Nathan Phillips Square, 100 Queen St. W.
β€’ Noon to 6 p.m.: Celebrations at Mel Lastman Square, 5100 Yonge St.

Canada Day fireworks will take place at 10 p.m. at four City parks:
β€’ Ashbridges Bay Park, 1561 Lake Shore Blvd. E.
β€’ Centennial Parkβ€―Etobicoke, 256 Centennial Park Rd.
β€’ Milliken Park, 5555 Steeles Ave. E.
β€’ Stan Wadlow Park, 373 Cedarvale Ave.

There will be no fireworks displays at Nathan Phillips Square and Mel Lastman Square.
