2018 AutoShow. Volkswagen Passat GT Concept Unveiling at the Canadian International AutoShow (4K, images)

The Volkswagen Passat GT Concept combines fresh styling updates with increased performance and appearance details similar to those of the Golf GTI. On the performance front, the Passat GT gets a big performance boost from thanks to the presence of a 3.6-litre turbocharged VR6 engine that produces 280 horsepower and is mated to a six-speed double-clutch transmission. A lowered suspension (15.24 mm), along with 19-inch Tornado wheels gives the Passat GT a more aggressive and planted stance on the road, while painted red brake calipers, a black honeycomb grille insert and red accent lines are reminiscent of the GTI.
