Winterlicious launches Toronto Culinary Event Series in time for holiday season gift-giving

(Toronto, December 13, 2018) - Winterlicious, Toronto’s popular foodie event, returns January 25 to February 7, 2019, featuring both a Culinary Event Series and Prix Fixe Promotion. Explore the city’s food culture at Winterlicious, created by the City of Toronto. Tickets for the Culinary Event Series go on sale today and make for a unique holiday gift.
Reservations for the Prix Fixe Promotion begin on January 10. Details about Winterlicious 2019 are available at https://www.toronto.ca/winterlicious.

2019 Culinary Event Series
The Winterlicious 2019 Culinary Event Series features 13 eclectic and exciting food experiences to choose from:
• The Art of Food Preservation, Archeo, Distillery District on January 25 and 27
• Dinner with the Mackenzies, Mackenzie House on January 25, 26, 27 and 31 and February 1 and 2
• A Culinary Tour of Toronto, Palais Royale on January 25
• Lil' Gourmets – The Flavour of Family, Acqua Dolce on January 26 and 27 and February 1, 2 and 3
• Afternoon Tea, Casa Loma on January 26 and 27 and February 2 and 3
• Taste of Italy – Formaggi & Vino, Cibo Wine Bar Yorkville on January 28
• Savour St. Lawrence Market, St. Lawrence Market on January 28 and 29 and February 2, 3 and 4
• Feed Your Fashion, Kasa Moto on January 29
• An Evening of Pasta at Parcheggio, Parcheggio on January 30
• Beer vs Sake – A Pairing Journey of Bites and Libations, Boku Noodle Bar on January 31
• Spanish Gypsy Tales, Tapas at Embrujo on February 5
• Scotch & Learn, David Duncan House on February 6 and 7
• Food – The New Fashion, The Hazelton Hotel on February 6
Tickets for the Culinary Event Series go on sale today, in time for holiday gift-giving. Some events sell out fast so interested buyers are encouraged to purchase tickets now. More information is available at https://www.toronto.ca/winterlicious.
2019 Prix Fixe Promotion
Nearly 200 restaurants will offer three-course prix fixe lunch menus priced at $23, $28 and $33 and dinner menus priced at $33, $43 and $53. Restaurants will start accepting reservations for the Prix Fixe Promotion on January 10. Reservations are strongly recommended and are to be made directly with the participating dining establishments. The City of Toronto appreciates the support of a new Winterlicious sponsorship partner, Uniqlo. Uniqlo is also presenting the Feed Your Fashion culinary event at Kasa Moto on January 29.
