✈️ 2022 Air Show. Gordon Price in his prototype YAK 50 at the Canadian International Air Show

Gord Price is returning back to the show this year. Gord Price, a former Royal Canadian Air Force fighter pilot and retired airline pilot flies the Yak-50 out of Billy Bishop Regional Airport in Owen Sound.
Gord is a Canadian Unlimited Aerobatic Champion and first flew at the CIAS in 1987.
The Yakovlev Yak-50 is a single seat all-metal low wing monoplane with retractable main wheels and exposed tail wheel. The Yak-50 has exceptional handling characteristics enhanced by a high power-to-weight ratio. The Yak-50 was used as a military trainer by Lithuanian, Russian, Soviet and Ukrainian Air Forces.
The Yak-50 is sponsored by The Dam Pub, located in Meaford, Ontario. A family run gastropub with over 1,000 whiskies it is definitely worth the drive to Meaford.
