After a multi-year wait for the Canadian International AutoShow’s return, tickets for the 2023 AutoShow — the 50th anniversary of Canada’s automotive showcase — are finally on sale!
As Canada’s largest consumer show, the Canadian International AutoShow, presented by the Toronto Star, will once again put a spotlight on the latest in automotive innovation and showcase mobility reimagined. In each of the three years immediately preceding the global COVID-19 pandemic, the AutoShow attracted more than 333,000 patrons to the Metro Toronto Convention Centre. Now, once again poised to display Canada’s largest roster of new vehicles, innovative technologies and fan-favorites, the team behind the Canadian International AutoShow is excited to showcase what they have been working on since the show’s forced hiatus.
“We are eager to get back and welcome car enthusiasts to the return of the Canadian International AutoShow,” says Jason Campbell, General Manager of the AutoShow. “The automotive industry is changing rapidly, and the AutoShow will be the place to see the latest innovations, the new technologies and the grand ideas that will shape mobility in the future. There is no better place to begin looking for your next vehicle, or feed your passion for the automotive world, than at the AutoShow.”
The exciting new feature exhibit
Electric City is the new one-stop destination for AutoShow attendees to learn everything about automotive electrification. From brand-new electric vehicles and EV test drives to home charging solutions and answers to any question attendees might have about the future of mobility, Electric City will be sure to educate and entertain all visitors.
With a host of innovations and fresh new experiences for potential car buyers, the Canadian International AutoShow is putting car buyers behind the wheel. New for 2023, the indoor EV Test Track will excite and educate attendees firsthand on the benefits of driving electric vehicles. Attendees will be able to experience EVs right on the show floor!
Additionally, the 2023 AutoShow will bring back many fan-favorites to the North and South Buildings of the Metro Toronto Convention Centre between February 17th and 26th, 2023, including:
• Cobble Beach Classics — Consistently among the most anticipated AutoShow features. Presented in partnership with Cobble Beach Concours d’Elegance, it is a showcase of rare and classic beauties.
• Auto Exotica — The place where automotive dreams happen. The carefully curated selection of luxury, hyper and super cars features some of the most exotic vehicles from around the world.
• Oblivion — A celebration of the cars — and pop culture — of the 1980s and 1990s.
• Automotive Journalist Association of Canada’s Car and Utility Vehicle of the Year Awards — The AutoShow will also once again become the centre of Canadian automotive journalism when it hosts the annual awards for the top new vehicles in Canada.
