At this year’s festival, there’s a party brewing to help celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary in 2017. Canada Blooms is marking Canada’s sesquicentennial with the theme Oh! Canada and this distinctly Canadian flavor are so noticeable throughout Canada Blooms - from the design of the displays to the plants being used. Central to this Oh! Canada theme is the 2017 Plant of the Year, the Canadian Shield™ rose which is on display at Canada Blooms.

Besides celebrating the country’s sesquicentennial with a floral recreation of the Canada 150 logo welcoming all patrons to Canada’s largest floral and garden festival, the Oh! Canada theme of this year’s event is inspiring the popular feature gardens that, in turn, inspire Canadian gardeners and landscapers when putting together their own yards and creations.
